High levels of satisfaction were reported for device circumcision despite the pain noted during removal and some challenges with the device in situ. Given the advantages of and acceptability among Mozambican men in this study, the authors concluded that device circumcision could be offered, when clinically appropriate, as an alternative to surgery.
